Sjóvá nominated for the VIRKt Company 2025 recognition
VIRK Work Connection has nominated Sjóvá as one of twelve companies on the nomination list for those eligible to receive the recognition as a VIRKt Company 2025.
Two of the twelve nominated companies will receive the recognition, and the winners will be announced at VIRK’s annual meeting on April 29. The companies Hrafnista and Símstöðin received this recognition in 2024.
At Sjóvá, we are proud to support the important work VIRK does in our society, as they assist individuals who have fallen out of the labor market and focus on their health and well-being with the goal of helping them return to work.
In a statement from VIRK’s employment agents, it was noted that Sjóvá’s contribution is invaluable and that we demonstrate significant social responsibility in practice by offering opportunities to individuals in employment rehabilitation. We regularly welcome job seekers for counseling and support, and this cooperation has led to employment.
