Lára Hrafnsdóttir is the new Marketing Director of Sjóvá, and Ásta Björg Ingadóttir has assumed a new role as Head of Revenue Management in the Sales and Advisory Division.

Lára Hrafnsdóttir has extensive experience in marketing, having worked at Saxo Bank in Copenhagen, Arion Bank, and most recently as Marketing Director at the Icelandic innovation company Lucinity. She holds a dual master’s degree in Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School.
“I’m very excited to take on the role of Marketing Director at Sjóvá, a company that has established a strong position in the Icelandic market with a long and successful history,” says Lára.

Ásta Björg Ingadóttir has been with the company since 2016. Prior to that, she worked as a mathematics teacher at Verzlunarskóli Íslands. Ásta holds an M.Sc. in Actuarial Science from Boston University and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Iceland.
“Having worked at Sjóvá for the past eight years, I have gained deep insight into the company’s operations and proudly take on this new role. I look forward to working with the strong Revenue Management team, which I see as one of Sjóvá’s key areas. Among our projects are pricing and frontline service, both of which are evolving rapidly alongside societal changes.
