Sjóvá’s investment policy and asset management rules are established in accordance with Article 113 of Act No. 100/2016 on Insurance Activities. Their purpose is to ensure that the company’s investments are prudent and responsible, with decisions made in a professional manner.
The asset management rules also aim to guarantee that the composition of the company’s assets secures their safety, quality, liquidity, and profitability.
The investment policy is further designed to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding the matching of assets to insurance liabilities.
The policy is reviewed at least annually.
