Equal Pay Certification according to ÍST 85:2012
In 2014, we received the Equal Pay Certification from VR, which is a good recognition of our equality work. The Equal Pay Certification confirms that our equal pay system, implementation of wage decisions, and monitoring of gender-based wage differences ensure that there is no gender-based pay discrimination or other disparities in benefits at Sjóvá. In 2017, our certification was renewed by BSI in Iceland, confirming that Sjóvá's equal pay system meets all the requirements according to the ÍST 85:2012 standard and the requirements of the Ministry of Welfare for Equal Pay Certification. Therefore, Sjóvá received the Equal Pay Mark of the Ministry of Welfare in 2017, of which we are very proud.
